A 5.6 earthquake shook San Jose while I was at Bible study tonight! It was the longest one I have felt in a long time. The chandelier was swinging and the pictures on the wall moved a tiny bit, but nothing else.
I was at school for 14 hours yesterday, but today I had "healthy play" training and so I had a sub. Happy almost Halloween! (I keep forgetting that it is tomorrow since my school is celebrating on Friday.)

Rock 'n' roll, Kimberly! We haven't had an earthquake in a long time here in Goleta. Wonder if that means nothing, or that tension in the faults around here is building up for a really big jolt?
We celebrated Halloween today -- I took pictures. I wore Halloween duds two days in a row. I like Halloween. Not being scared, but seeing kids and adults dressed up, especially in clever outfits, is a kick. I picked up some candy corn and made vampire teeth out of them -- had the teachers in the lounge howling with laughter. Didn't they know that's what candy corn is for?
